A good SEO company in Lahore can show you three things before you pay: a written list of what it will do every month, sample work it has already published, and a report that explains what changed. What SEO actually involves
SEO means helping Google understand your website and trust it enough to show it for the searches your buyers make. For a small business in Lahore, the work usually has four parts:
- Keyword research: finding the words your customers really type, including English and Roman Urdu searches.
- On-page work: clear page titles, descriptions, headings and content on your own pages.
- Content: regular articles and pages that answer buyer questions.
- Reporting: a monthly summary of what was done and what moved.
Technical fixes, such as slow pages or broken links, sit alongside these. Some fixes depend on your theme or plugins, so a good company gives you a written fix list for those.
What a real monthly plan should list
Ask for a plan that names quantities, not feelings. Look for lines like these:
- How many articles or pages are published each month.
- Whether you approve the topics before they are written.
- What on-page work is done on each piece.
- How new pages are sent to Google for indexing.
- What the monthly report contains, and where you can read it.
- What the company will not do, such as buy backlinks.
A plan that says "we will boost your rankings" and nothing else has no deliverables. You cannot check it.
How to test an SEO company
- Ask for two articles it has published for a client. Read them. Are they specific, or could they be about any business?
- Ask where the facts come from. Articles should use facts from your own website and your own words, not invented claims.
- Ask who checks the work before it goes live.
- Ask for a sample monthly report.
- Ask what happens if you stop. Do you keep the content?
- Ask them to explain their pacing. Google acts against low-value content published in bulk, so a steady pace with checks is safer than a flood.
Red flags
- Guaranteed page one rankings.
- Backlink packages. Pakistani backlink markets are full of spam networks, and they can bring penalties.
- No written scope, or a price that changes each time you ask.
- Your site or accounts held in the company's name.
- A contract that locks you in for a long term with no exit.

A useful research output is a short list of searches your buyers make, grouped by what they want, and a plan that says which page or article answers each one.
